ALL ABOUT THE AOA – MAY 2020

BOARD MEMBERS

We’re a team of devoted specialists who believe in the absolute value of arbitration.

Mr Chris Binnington is a registered Professional Engineer who, from 1997 until 2010, served as Chairman of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa) NPC.  He is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and served as Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Engineering Council of South Africa for four years.  He regularly contributes articles to construction journals and is an accomplished lecturer on commercial and contractual topics.  He specialises in adjudication, arbitration and mediation.  Chris is an Honorary Life Fellow, current Director, and serves on the Rules Committee of the AOA NPC. When not at his desk or on site, you’ll find this avid fly fisherman knee-deep in water.
